Booking with One Himalaya

Booking with One Himalaya

Easy to book, low deposits, no surcharge guaranteed, full financial protection.

Once you've found a trip itinerary that you'd like to book or have discussed a tailor made itinerary that you'd like to go ahead with, there are a number of easy ways to confirm your booking:

  • If your trip is featured on our website, click the Book this Trip button on the trip page
  • If we've designed a tailor made itinerary for you, contact us by phone or email or using the Contact Us page on our website to confirm you'd like to go ahead
  • Call or email us or use the Contact Us to let us know which trip you'd like to book and one of our team will confirm the details with you

Before confirming your booking it's very important that you check through our standard Terms and Conditions which you'll find on the website and are available here.

We'll email you a booking form to complete with your full details such as name, address, date of birth and other details needed to confirm your booking.

We will also share with you a secure booking link to use to pay your trip deposit and, if required, flight bookings. For most of our trips only a small deposit is required, with the exception of a few trips such as climbing expeditions or limited time offers, where a higher proportion deposit or occasionally full payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance payment for your trip will be due 60 days before the start date for your trip and we will send a payment reminder and secure payment link to you at that time. If booking less than 60 days before travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.

If booking international flights from the UK with us, once confirmed we will send your ATOL certificate immediately. Flight options can be held for a short time but once confirmed, full payment for flights is required at the time of confirmation.

We'll ask you to email us clear copies of the photo page of your passport for each person travelling. We use this to arrange your trekking and National Park permits and, if you are travelling to Bhutan or Tibet, to arrange your visas and entry permits. It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is up to date and valid for travel.

We will also ask you for confirmation that you have appropriate travel insurance in place for your trip and for a copy of the front page of your insurance policy document. It is a condition of booking that you have insurance in place and this is for your own protection should anything happen to you or your travel plans after you have booked or during your trip and we advise you take out travel insurance at the time of booking.

Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send your full confirmation and final itinerary for your trip, including any changes or extensions you've chosen to add. We'll also send a list of information such as suggested clothing and equipment lists and other information relevant to your trip that we hope you'll find useful.

If you have any questions at any time just let us know and one of our team will be happy to help.
